ALABASTER WATER BOARD ANNOUNCES OPEN ENROLLMENT FOR FIXED INCOME/REDUCED RATE PROGRAM

NOVEMBER 1, 2023 – DECEMBER 31, 2023

Alabaster Water Board and the City of Alabaster offer qualifying customers the following reduced rates:

$10 reduction in the minimum water bill
$10 base sewer bill
Exemption from paying for garbage service

Qualification is based on the following:

An active customer for the previous 12 months
The sole household income is from Social Security Retirement or Social Security Disability

How To Apply:

Applications will be available November 1—December 31 online or in person at 200 Kent Stone Boulevard – (Current participants will be mailed an application during the month of October)

Provide current Social Security Award Letter or Annual Statement from Social Security
Provide the two most recent bank statements
Provide a valid driver’s license or state identification card

Open enrollment will take place between November 1 and December 31. Reduced rates will begin January 2024.
