The Alabaster Water Board announces a limited time program to
install irrigation meters for its residential customers. The Board
will accept the first 50 paid applications beginning July 1 and
going through the earlier of August 31, 2009 or the date when the
first 50 paid applications for service are received. Under this
limited time program the fee for installation of meters is $60
rather than the normal $500. Customers must agree to maintain
service for 36 months from the date the meter is first installed.
The Board will make every effort, subject to system work that must
be done, to install the meters within 3 weeks of the customer paying
for the service.
